Frost bank presented us with the challenge to design an app that helps people save money in a thoughtful and new way.
Use design thinking and empathy mapping combined with user interviews and testing to reach an innovative and implementable solution for helping people save money.
Through my interviews, I found that many people are not able to save money due to unpredictable and difficult financial situations. Although this caused some anxiety and obvious stress, they understood the practicality of their situation. A major concern for the users was not so much how they personally can save rather than, a concern for the lessons and knowledge they can impart on their kids to set them up for a successful and well-balanced future.
To leverage the benefits of college savings accounts to improve financial literacy and set families up for a successful future.

Parents create an account and are taken through an intuitive onboarding experience with a friendly chatbot that alleviates the stress and overwhelming nature of filling out long informational forms.

After the intial information assesment is out fo the way. The parent will set up profiles for their children. A shared QR code allows the child access to their interface.
